Pattern + Texture

Weaver Street Market’s soil textures and seed patterns are designed to compliment the Weaver Street Market brand voice. The patterns should be simple and lively, used in small doses where a specific accent is needed to add to the design.

The Seed Pattern

The seed is the basis of the Weaver Street Market brand to emphasize ‘nourish.’ It can be used to create patterns throughout the Weaver Street Market space or on brand materials.

The seed can be used as a pattern to showcase community.

The Soil Pattern

The soil pattern creates the larger context for the seed pattern. Soil can be visually represented one of three ways in the Weaver Street Market brand—through construction paper, through a paintbrush texture, or through line pattern.

The construction paper can be used to represent soil on brand materials like packaging. The paintbrush texture can be used at the bottom of brand materials like business cards.

Waves and lines also represent the soil. These line drawings work in unison with the iconography of the Weaver Street Market brand.

The Sprouts

While the seed pattern and soil patterns can be used on their own, they can also work together to paint a bigger picture. To represent growth, we can use the seed and soil patterns together along with sprout icons.
