Weaver Street Market’s photography style reflects the brand expression of ‘nourish’; it is lively and natural. The brand photography fits into one of two categories, each adhering to a different visual principle. Images below serve as a reference.

Food Photography

When photographing food, we showcase it in the best, most natural way possible. At times this may mean photographing food in the hands of our customers, our bakers, or growers, in the context of the market. At times this may also mean focusing in very closely to the food, to let it be the full star of the picture. 

People Photography

When photographing people, we showcase them in a way that represents Weaver Street Market: friendly, lively, and real. Our photos of people aren’t staged or posed. We show farmers who take pride in what they’re growing. And we show people around our market enjoying community and food. When we photograph people we give equal importance to the composition of the photograph and to the emotion we’re capturing.
